Coming to the factory gives the young people an experience that they would never

have otherwise. We do have a laser cutter at school, but none of the young people
get to actually use it or choose materials and it’s only a small percentage of young
people that are actually allowed to do it. It’s been a brilliant experience for all of
them, I can’t believe how focused they’ve been on their projects and how committed they’ve been. I really hope we can do something like this again.
I’ve really enjoyed learning design on the computers – we don’t get to do much fun

stuff on the computers at school.
