Youth equity + STEM is a collaborative project between UCL, KWMC and other partners across the UK and the US researching how STEM is delivered in places other than school.
The project brought together a group of 5 young people from KWMC to become researchers on this topic. The group met regularly with researchers from UCL to discuss the way that they experience STEM outside of school and contributed their thoughts about the subject and suggest ways different locations could deliver STEM in an interesting and equitable way.
STEM equity is a 3 year project and we are currently in year 2.
